I broke 1 front wishbone, the pinion gear came loose and the servo saver snapped.

IceMike 10-11-2007 08:09 PM

you know that front metal bulkhead taht looks indistructable. well i totally bent that

Lee 10-11-2007 08:18 PM

HOW?

Im no expert, i raced tourers up until last year, and the BJ has taken a beating. I couldnt wish for a stronger car tbh

IceMike 10-11-2007 08:20 PM

the week after i got a brushless hit sumat and it didnt wanna move.

Lee 10-11-2007 08:28 PM

but wouldnt any car beak?

I cant see the B44 being any stronger, its the same design:rolleyes:

IceMike 10-11-2007 08:29 PM

its not the same design. might look it but its not

When i owned a BJ4 WE i found the thing that broke the most was the front wishbones and i no a few other people that ran the car had the same problem. But any car will break if hit at the right angle....

I still can't believe you went through that massive pack of all those wishbones AND then snapped the beefy alu bulkhead!!! :o
I ran that car the whole year before you had it and only broke one or two wishbones. Must be a special talent of yours... :wtf:

Hope you have enough spare for tomorrow! :p

sly 10-11-2007 11:46 PM

So what did you think Mike after running it at kiddy today?

IceMike 11-11-2007 05:34 PM

awesome, i was goin careful thinkin that i had no spares. and at start i had it totally geared wrong had to go up 8 teeth. but it had bags of grip all i did all day was change the rear springs to silver. and i think that was a wrong move for the conditions in the final. best result ive had. cant wait till i can drive it properly

IceMike 11-11-2007 05:35 PM

did expect you to come have a look though matt

matdodd 11-11-2007 10:11 PM

Ye I was going to but just didnt seem to have much time, I might come down osfest in the week an have a look then :)

delanobe 13-11-2007 03:04 PM

For those who already received the kit:

Does it come with a front one way or centre one way? Does the car need one to be competitive on astro or indoor (carpet)

Thanks!

IceMike 13-11-2007 03:07 PM

ive never really liked the one way, used one ones an didnt notice the difference. but the b44 doesnt come with one. and i have one used it on astro and carpet so far. but it felt really good.

delanobe 13-11-2007 03:14 PM

That's good news!

Does it have enough steering?
Grip roll?
Wich tires are you using?

Thanks

IceMike 13-11-2007 03:18 PM

it was a wet track an only got wetter and i was only using yellow minis warn ones at first an new when it was really wet. this is on astro.

i havent had any grip rol yet. the car is straight out the box. an i know i have had plenty of grip to gip grip roll.

steering lock is prity good. much better than a bj4we.
