I'm pleasantly surprised with mine, actually enjoyed the build as it requires patience & fine fettling to get it right. Feels solid too although I made a few minor tweaks to prevent it falling apart mid race.
I'm running the upgraded trans with a 7.5t motor, finished 3rd in class at the Schumacher Challenge on it's 2nd outing :)

Pro transmission problem.
Just got my pro transmission upgrade for 1 of my runners but im having trouble from the outset. Ive rebuilt the rear drum as manual 3 times but no matter what i do there there is quite a bit of wobble in the outdrive dogs and sideways movement. This cant be right? Ive tightened the diff screw then backed it off 1/4 but there seems alot of movement in the dogs. Any ideas?

Are you missing a spacer or bearing in the middle? I don’t know as I’m too tight to pay for the upgrad :lol:

yeh its been built exactly as in the maual. but if you hold the drum you can move the outdrives up and down, side to side. confused.

So basicly the bits are harder since the problem. back in the days was all the unwanted flex.
