It did have losi shocks on it, but these AE shocks worked well with the Losi Red pistons and VCS shock caps

same question here:)

andys 03-01-2010 04:36 PM

Yeah, speedo would go in the middle. It's really pretty light, so I figured put it on one side, the reciever and PT (not installed yet) on the other, then leave plenty of space to add / remove weight from the middle as and when ;)

It was a really nice build with all the quality bits and pieced in one box, the only thing I reckon they could have added is the AE thumb screws which I've ordered elsewhere.

Yes, new (ish) losi shocks and when the postman calls, all the B4 bits will finally be replaced with all new parts. All gear box internals are new too, full new bearing set in the post for the wholecar too ;)

A few more piccies.

like your x6 mate. The blue washers on wing where you get them from??

MHeadling 03-01-2010 09:58 PM

Those washer associated B4 FT axle spacers, easy to fit just be carefull when drilling into the wing mount to make sure you get it into the support under flat piece if the wing mount.

You'll get what I mean when you have a look at the mount!

YoungChazz 04-01-2010 12:09 AM

The ashers are standard in the Championship Edition, and the wing mounts are pre-drilled. Also comes with the flat-head screws.

Got this of Mark, great car done a couple of little mods like a hole to get to the lower motor screw (shown in pic) as i didnt want to round the screw off by undoing the screw at an angle. Hope you like the pics mark

Washers

Only thing needed is 4 long counter sunk crews and some MORE!!! alloy washers for the tops of the shock towers. Orded 20 from nortech and ive used them all so had to dig out some red ones for the shocktowers.

MHeadling 06-01-2010 05:03 PM

Looks good Alex! Added some bling I see and Losi Shocks, Glad you like it, hope it goes well for you!

YoungChazz 19-01-2010 03:05 PM

You say it's "non squared" -- we call that "original." But it's got the squared stickers. If it's original, I think D.M.S. and I know we have original stickers if you want.

Darren Boyle 19-01-2010 03:09 PM

Chazz, why would anyone want to make the car look older??????

(That car is a squared by the looks of things anyhow)

hottuna 19-01-2010 03:14 PM

He mean the 3 gear tranny. And almost nothing is original on our X6's anymore :D

YoungChazz 19-01-2010 03:18 PM

Darren, my friend, once you've reached a "certain age," flaunt it!

Just remember my old sig: "Experience, guile, and treachery beat youth, speed, and exuberance every time."
