All repaired now and also fitted with Losi ball cups, standard R turnbuckles and Edit titanium ball studs with smoke nuts, so thought I would post again..

Thanks again to RebelRC (Scott) for the loan of a rear bulkhead set, James for the crappy rear plastics that hold the rear diff in (I must spend £40 on the bling full fat, ally ones!) and Mark for the advice on parts etc.

Finally bit the bullet and purchased one. Not raced it yet but should manage to tomorrow (to see what parts break or fall off) I do have My Lazer FS as backup :thumbsup: The electrics are tight but i think i made not too bad a job. Might even be able to squeeze a fan in.....

Looking good dave. Do I see the alloy hinge pin holders on the front ? If so wise move, I destroyed the plastic ones 2 weeks ago on my first outing. Changed over to the alloy ones from my DEX410 09 edition and the front end is much stronger now on my new DEX410R.

You going to Ayr tomorrow ?

Cheers Raymond, yes i am goin tomorrow. Yeah i only managed to get the FF hinge pin holder but i do have spare plastic ones. I plan to upgrade it as i go along. I must admit that there is some bits that i am disapointed about but i will see how it goes. See you tomorrow.

why did you take the top of the spur gear cover off?

Get that heatshrink off the solder posts !!!! They are heatsinks

I was sure my SP was thermalling because of a post touching the can that's why I did that Stu. My tape on the motor should be ok though so I will remove the shrink.

Because it was rubbing on the shell and now I can hold it to check slipper settings, etc

and now after 5 hours of soldering and perfecting the wires i know feel i can show you my install without embarasment :D

Yo need some stickers on that wing AP, I bet it doesnt stay that colour for long at Stannington!!

Ha ha I know , the stickers on the wing were tatty so I decided to rip them off before the photo .
