The Chef 20-09-2011 09:45 PM

Thank you.

I'll race it sunday but yes They will both go. RB5 SP2 vega and new Rango for me and a RB5 SP2 for oscar, It is just easier this way and will be better for oscar to learn on.

I just want something that I feel comfortable with. And the cat isn't quite hitting the spot. I wont get rid of both of them until I'm sure. Tough call between this and the laser but I cant bring myself to spend £380 on a kit and about another £150 on extras and still have a plastic chassis. Never say never though.:woot:

FS2 SP should be good to go straight out of the box. Speak to Tony E on Sunday at TORCH.

The Chef 20-09-2011 10:06 PM

I will, I'm getting another RB5 SP2 off him:thumbsup: I'll go Rango first If I don't like that then Lazer it is.
:o

Dudders 20-09-2011 10:14 PM

Lazer?

The Chef 20-09-2011 11:37 PM

Yes Lazer Kyosho's new car. sp thingy.

Other than a change of springs, the FS2 is good to go from the box (the kit springs are a bit soft for Astro IMHO). Yes you can buy hop up parts but these are mostly for bling or to increase reliability.

If you order a V3 from Michael @ MB Models it will be posted out today i'm sure !

steel 21-09-2011 07:06 AM

Is there any confirmation that they are in stock at mb ??

simoncrabb 21-09-2011 07:23 AM

I spoke to Durango yesterday (Tuesday) and the V3 was imminent, so I'm hoping we'll have some by the end of the week ready for delivery to TORCH on Sunday.
