Steve,
'Scuse the ignorance but "paint lifting"??

Let's assume you have backed a silver section with black, and you don't leave it enough time to dry (Steven zaps it with a hairdryer a little) . You go to lift the section off next to this backed silver and the black backing comes with it, leaving the silver naked :)

Hope this explains it :)

OK that makes sense Thanks

Are you allowed to use the term naked before the 9pm watershed??

Andy Murrays set. Glad he went back to his old colours as I hate green.

Removed that silly white line I did going through the middle on his 1/12 on this one.

Sorted that now, I just leave silver pins to dry 24 hours before removing the mask. Don't let people rush me anymore;)

Aww thanks! Better at the line work than the painting itself I must say.

Hi Steve,

You're doing some really nice stuff now. Have to get you to paint some of my shells!

Steveonamission 16-06-2013 01:18 PM

Ha, not sure about that! Just trying to keep them clean and not over complicate.

Clean and over complicated always works, I'd much rather see a simple design with some subtle shadows or something that works perfectly from a distance than some overly complicated mess that just turns into a blob from any sort of distance.

Good work as always Steve

Thankyouuuu
