I meant the ones that were taken of Adams car. ;)

Does this look like a prototype to you? ;) The front shock tower doesnt look like a B4?
I guess some hb drivers already have one, but I bet they are still in the R&D stage, something like front ends breaking.
On a B4 the shocks are mounted behind the front tower, not in front.:eh?:

That looks like an RB5 or something to me. Deffo not a HB prototype.
Have you no seen the HB website?:eh?:

It looks nothing like the pic above!!
Generally I think the shell design etc will be pretty much the same as the proto' but other internal things may change.

Just stop using them, when they puff up like this, and you should be fine:

I'm getting 50% off 2 new packs as well.....:D

Any news? Fall 2010 is the latest word,do anybody know if this is still the case or not gonna happend?

sparrow.2 05-03-2010 04:29 PM

I think this project is dead.

The chief designer of the car is working for another company, the car has been removed from the website and the prototypes were not that promising either apparently.

Bit of a shame really...

panch 05-03-2010 07:47 PM

Guys sorry to end your speculation but this isnt in the game plan at the moment, not to say that it couldnt happen in the future but no plans at the mo...

sorry

Twister 08-03-2010 12:13 PM

I read on an American forum that it had been discontinued just before Christmas.

ainsbury8 10-03-2010 07:30 PM

I received an e mail from HB/hpi today and its true the d4 is no longer available as a kit.:confused:nice as i have just bought on!!!

Twister 11-03-2010 11:29 AM

have they given upp off road or are the coming out with a new car?

simoncrabb 11-03-2010 11:33 AM

They've just about given up on-road as well, it's taken them about 3 years to get a new Cyclone ready, and still no sign of that in the shops either.

I think HPI/HB are busy with the whole 8th nitro and RTR thing.

Dont agree with you completely. Their new prototype just won the TITC in Thailand a week ago. The Cyclone Tc is still a pretty good car and it still wins races. Perhaps they have been milking that one as long as they can.

I thought the Cyber 10 was the D4's 'replacement'?
