Like it a lot - going to use bright cours when I do my own shells :)
I bought a Finisher 410 for myself a while ago - not sprayed it yet as I'm undecided if I like the shape - yours looks smart though - I'm warming to it ;)

Picture of body fitted, top job !

Looks very nice that fella - Both yourself and Naughty need white wheels on the cars though - with those body colours !

Otherwise - you need another shell with some yellow in it :)

andys 17-06-2012 08:56 PM

Here you go fella - White wheels.... nice :0

They all look really crisp and have that 'pro' look to them, like they've come out the factory with it on. Very good work !

Cheers Ian

Just read one of your replies in another thread re backing white with silver - genius ;

One of my biggest problems is I paint white first - then other colours can start coming through - I was wracking my brain trying to find a solution ;)

Cheers

Andy

Genius, ha I think not  you can back it with a darker colour like black but it will instantly dull the white. Silver works and is like a reverse primer. You could use a light grey colour that would work too.

As i've drawn lots of window masks for various shells - and had people asking about getting hold of some cut vinyl - I thought i'd sort a set for the Durango V3 standard shell.

What you would get - is a cut down A4 Vinyl sheet, with obviously 2 of each mask shown, borders are all cut - so you apply the mask as one piece, then remove the borders to paint, then finally remove the inner window when you are done - much neater and easier than cutting them out yourself - or making a horrible mess with the supplied masks.

Front window also included !! I'll update the image ASAP ;)

(TIP - never use the ones that are a kind of yellow masking tape - they are useless !)

Anyway - just testing the water - £4.50 gets you a full set posted to your door.

If people are interested - i've done a few other shells too - C4.1 Bulldog - Standard 410 shell - 210 Standard shell - JC 210 cab forward etc - let me know and i'll sort that set next :)

Daylight 'running lights' - Bally needs all the help he can get :)

Can't believe how much paint this thing needed - fluorescent orange, it took a whole tamiya tin' !

bally 20-06-2012 03:40 PM

The lights are cool!
