is there going to be room for everyone to pit inside and what time is the pub open for buttys?!

Nick 30-07-2010 11:31 AM

Yeah I would think there would be room for everyone without any problem as long as everyone brings plenty of power leads all should be good! There are some tables and chairs to! Back to the grip would say it was more medium to high! Not as much as astro!

Nick 30-07-2010 11:33 AM

Think Pub opens about 10 or 11

/tobys 30-07-2010 11:41 AM

cheers Nick. Is it OK to bring Leisure batteries indoors if they are in a container?

wes j. 30-07-2010 12:08 PM

Leverton Regional

Thanks to nick for answering some of the questions i will now clarify a few of the points raised 1 The track is completely closed until first practice Sunday morning due to the worked being carried out. 2 The pub should be open from around 7.30ish for bacon butties etc there will also be tea and soft dinks crisps and small snacks served throughout most of the day. You can also have a Sunday carvery subject to numbers booking would be advisable as soon as you get there, there will also be a barbecue in the afternoon also provided by the pub. 3 There should be plenty of room for indoor pitting the hall size is 18m x 12m plus a small side room the only problem i can see is not enough tables but please just bring a pit table with you and there should be no problem, and yes batterries are allowed but in a leak proof container, there is a bit of grass at the back between the hall and the track if you would like to pit outside but you must use a generator or battery no extensions out of the hall please. 4 We are working very hard on the track but please bear in mind its a touring car track with the off road between it, as nick has said its a type of carpet quite thick the grip is i think about the same as astro but without the sand so has to be pegged down. 5 There is no camping as we do not have the room for this sorry.
I hope this as covered some of the questions raised i will be back through the week to give out the time table for the day Just one other thing i would like to thank Tony & Sue of holbeach club for helping us to run the meeting for the regional any other questions please feel free to ask i will do my best to answer them.

Is there any more space in the 4WD regional this sunday?

Also what shop will be going there as I need to contact them for some parts ><

18x12m doesn't seem that big. will there deffo be enough room for all/most of the 60-70 drivers to get in?
Just don't want to travel for 2 hours without the gazebo or genny only to find no space.

Just asking because theres 4 of us in my car and could do with carrying as little as poss, so obviously going without the gazebo and genny would be a bonus. :)

Should be big enough the hall has a 250 capacity,we will be short on tables, we have had 40 drivers pit in there and it still looks empty and thats without using the small side room which on its own has had 30 pitting in it on indoor club meets
Thanks Darran

Dave Dodd 02-08-2010 02:48 PM

approx wot size is the grassy area between hall & track?

Darrane 02-08-2010 11:24 PM

its around 20x35m enclosed by the hall

Darrane 06-08-2010 11:33 PM

Ok i have been hearing rumours that people are expecting to practice and camp over night i can assure any hoping to practice or camp wil be very disappointed as this will not happen. So please do not have a wasted trip as we are trying to be fair to everyone with the practice and there is no room for camping and the hall commitee will not allow it.
Thanks Darran
