Stu, I have a period Futaba Bionic Gold transmitter and reciever. Don't know if they work or not, but you're welcome to them if you fancy it...

Stu 22-11-2006 09:54 PM

Yeah, if I get it working OK you've made sale.

Stu 23-11-2006 09:43 PM

Dan's in.

WHITTLER555 23-11-2006 10:46 PM

Northy 23-11-2006 11:05 PM

My RC10 is almost ready, complete with Futaba FP-S148 servo, Acoms AR-227FE 27MHz receiver, Tekin 410K speedo and Acoms Tecniplus AP-227 Mk III tranny on Brown crystals! :D

To servo reverse the throttle I had to turn the throttle stick round on the tranny! :o

Just need motor now! :p

Its awesome. I'll take a picture tomorrow night when radio gear is in fully.

sat here masking my shell up,
car is in bits in the cellar and I have bad of drill bits to try and move the cell holder to fit modern cells in! haha

shocks are shocking and need redoing (or binning) and the diff is just knackered. if anyone has a few knackered old rc10 bits - bring em!!
my front right pivot block thing is cracked and I need that front body mount too.
I need to buy a new one

Northy 24-11-2006 08:40 AM

lol
was up till 1:30am :eh?: painting it, looks OK, not amazing but it will do - few more stickers and it will be kool! :)

Got my "york vintage masters" stickers on, so it's all good.

Northy 24-11-2006 11:04 AM

Good job Jimmy. Any spare stickers?

Cheers,

G

Reading some of this on my 5 minute course breaks I;ve realised I only have the new larger IB celss and they are in saddle packs.

How can I fit them in an RC10 and make sure they don't fly about inside the car??????????????????????????????

Also I feel I need to get this caviate in now. I'll be using 4200SHV cells this weekend. You might be thinking this is for the super high voltage but no it's because they haven't been used for 3 months (Since telford national in 4wd) and when I ran a cycle on them a month ago the figures were appauling so need to give them a run out to freshen them up before their next outing at the supercup in February!!!

Northy 24-11-2006 12:39 PM

Tank tape Danneth, fixes anything.
