Mike W 09-01-2011 07:01 PM

Hi Gicko, i saw you driving at the winter race in koppl.
Your car was realy fast, but i think you have to work on your driving style :p !!!!!!
Also you should look for a new airbrusher :D

Rebelrc 09-01-2011 08:26 PM

Oh and Doug
if yours was as original as it gets, your car would have a slim coke bottle body made by laurent le page.

Rebelrc 09-01-2011 09:50 PM

My 4wd 2005 model prototype
Sadly the Durango b4 wasn't very sucessfull
Mine are constructed better than gerds but still very twitchy:cry:
But my 2005 ( original ) was way ahead of it's time. Truly rapid!

Bagman 14-01-2011 03:25 PM

have you tried it yet?

xchange 14-01-2011 05:41 PM

yep and from the current setup, i went to the Kinwald setup.

From my first Durango (2009) the ball cup are more heavy duty but i had some issues 2 or 3times with the new one.

The CVD pin still unscrewing, so now my CVD have all 2 screw to retain the pin and secure.

I m very happy with this setup, i prefere the plastic side on dirt and alu side on carpet.

Next evo is the carbon fiber chassis and go down 1500gr ;) and cut the rear brace to add small shocks.

steve73 14-01-2011 05:47 PM

"cut the rear brace to add small shocks"
What do you mean????

samd 14-01-2011 05:54 PM

1500g ?

Difficult to explain without image, i want to give more flex to the alu side pod without removing rigidity.

So to do, i plan to cut the rear brace where normaly you put the weight in each side and then add micro shock with limiter to allow 4mm of flex.

1500gr is my idea haha i dont think is possible

Bagman 14-01-2011 07:10 PM

I'd be worried that with a carbon chassis the centre of gravity would shoot up and it would be less manageable in the air. I know I'm going to talk myself into a carbon chassis but I do like the alloy. I may get it for the dirt.

OK, but RPM Homepage says that they are only working with Lunsford Turnbuckles, correct?

jamiekerr14 15-01-2011 10:20 AM

JConcepts + Shui ball studs ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys, all the praise goes to Kifo unfortunately! :D

Yeah, I still need to get 4 mall ball studs to finish them all off. But did all the one's that will be most likely to pop off ect. A friends uses the same setup and has had no issues with over 6 months use..

Few more-Before Sticker's:
