Cant see it happening ever?
Adam has gone to Durango, and they are apparently going to work on a 2WD.
Look at how long it took HB to bother to make a challenger for the RC12L4......by the time HB release a 2WD AE will be debuting the B6 probably lol

Cooper 22-09-2009 09:11 AM

it's not coming

Europe wants midmotor
America wants rear motor

HB says: well, no money for 2 cars, we will make no car.

Si Coe 22-09-2009 03:01 PM

Well thats not to say it will never appear - After all it was designed by ooples own Adam Skelding, who now drives for Durango, who don't currently have a 2wd car.

c0sie 22-09-2009 04:31 PM

It aint gonna be a HB though, is it lol

MHeadling 22-09-2009 08:32 PM

The HB car is very Durango ish?! Just need to anodise the purple bits gold!

But I am sure Gerd and his team will have something good up their sleeve!

Northy 22-09-2009 09:56 PM

Now how about a car where you had the option of mid OR rear motor? That would be cool ;)

G

Yeah that is old, that was the D2 that Adam Skelding designed, unfortunatley never launched.

peakman 24-10-2009 11:16 PM

we are gettin word here in the states that the buggy will be released sometime in 2010.

B44&501xRacerEX 24-10-2009 11:43 PM

Yep, we are supposed to. Fall 2010 is what I was told.
Looking forward to this car.

telboy 25-10-2009 09:53 PM

I have a sneaky suspision that it won't be the same as the car that was tested.

It would be a little disappointing if it was no different from the publicly shown prototype after such a long time till release. Probably will have a mid-moter, or maybe swappable if they read this ;)

telboy 26-10-2009 08:19 PM

Since the spyshots, the R&D on the D2 has moved to the states or japan. They run different stuff to us so there's every chance that things could have been redesigned to their ideas.

mr. ed 28-10-2009 03:41 PM

spy-shots? I wouldn't call a presentation at the nurenberg toy exhibition spying ;)
