Ran 10.5 at worksop last weekend without upgrade tranny no issues front belt does slacken off a bit
maybe need to tighten screws a bit more dave |
Im running a 10t brushless with standard transmission. No problems at all. Amazingly strong buggy. Only upgrades on mine are tm4 shocks, schumacher wing mount and moulded wing
|
can anybody recommend tyres for wet short astro?
|
Agreed I have changed rear shock mount to an sx3 one and fitted latest version wing mounts
have upgrade tranny kit yet to fit |
The only weak points ive noticed are the wire wing mount and kit wing. My xls has had quite a bit of use now. Its still looking amazing though

Fingers crossed!!! |
My first real RC race buggy was the Top Cat. Cost £74.99 back then. The first run of them had a slight problem with the front keep dropping down. Schumacher changed something on the front which sorted it.
Then the cougar came out and Schumacher did a front cougar conversion for £29.99 which converted the front to upright shocks. Loved both to be honest............ |
Did schumacher have much success race wise with any of their early 2wd buggies? I know the cats were hugely successful but dont know much about the early 2wd cars
|
