Hello all members

We have secured the keys for the new venue at St Margarets.

We want to show everybody the new venue and what the future can hold for us.
We intend to stop racing at 3pm this weekend and bring everyone down afterwards to the new site.

We would request everyone to make the effort to get there, even if you cant make the racing we would urge you to meet us at 3pm near there and show you.

This is a great opportunity for our sport and the clubs future.
We can only make it work if everyone pulls together with help and input.

any queries please email me or ring me

Graham

Hi Graham,

It was great to see the plot we have, it's huge:woot: the parking area alone would have been big enough!!!

I think members will be dreaming up lots of plans for the development of this site, it's a very exciting time for the DMCC.

Once we get the clubhouse built, outdoor & indoor swimming pools (which of course can double for the RC boat guys), some tennis courts (only two don't want to go too crazy) a mini golf course, outdoor bowls green (Dave can explain what we need). I'm sure I'm missing something . . . . O' Yes an outdoor & indoor RC car track :p

Myself and Sean bought a couple of decent used speed controllers this week (ouch) so we are grounded for a few weeks €€€ but we will be up for the remaining rounds. Great racing last week. Thanks to mick for helping us out.

Ian

Ian decides to use a shorty battery with plug in cables .... of course they are in the right way....

Haven't seen it yet, just saw the one from the summer champs. But I did see the article that went in, which was what's on the website with extra bits.
Looking at what was sent into them (it's on me laptop) it says

"40 year old MARK penny (40), who celebrated his 40th birthday, won everything"

The club journalist also works for the daily mail, so anything could have happened.

Mark,

What issue of Racer Magazine is the report in?

MiCk B. :-)

For the attention of all racers

we will be changing the track AFTER this sundays racing 30th March.

We will require members to carry out a small bit of work on sunday

1) Track hoovering If you have a spare hoover please bring it along. The track has to be hoovered and the pits.

Then

2) Cordless drill We will need all the white hose to be unscrewed and the screws left on the table beside the rostrum.
The jumps should be lifted up and placed on the main straight ( after it has been hoovered).

The hose can be left on the track where it is just remove the screws.

When this is done the new track will be laid on wednesday night ready in time for the following sunday.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT MEMBERS HELP WITH THIS

DMCC
