I broke a front wishbone (by driving in a track marker full chat after missing my victim, ooops) and Dan O blew a diff, other than that it was only the Mills Mashed up Machine that I saw break anything.

One thing for me, Can we be allowed to do the quad at the rear!!:woot::lol:
I think it was really well run as it was. Maybe two straight lines off the start instead of the start boxes at such an angle???

wezzer 21-10-2009 08:21 PM

lol yes griff you can do the quad
yeah we did the le mans style start grid just for the short course so for the buggies was just an after thought,,,, should we A; put on the same kind of meeting we have just done to make the numbers or B; try and fill a meeting with just 2wd and 4wd ???? answers on a postcard please ( just kidding about the post card thingy lol )

Ben Turner 21-10-2009 08:27 PM

I would like to see a meeting for 2wd/4wd 10th, and micros :D Can we do it this weekend?!?!?! lol. Cant find anywhere to race this weekend :(

Ben

I think if you did a bit more (fancy!) advertising, the venue has great potential to run just a buggy meeting. You could still have the sc10's as a support class for fun. But i also think the sc10's were great to watch. Try it as you did first and push buggies a bit more to see how many attend???

What we really need is someone who works in the industry, maybe at a reputable distributor to spread the word! Anyone know someone??? :p:p:p:p:thumbsup:

toooldskool 21-10-2009 08:39 PM

Gotta have the SC10's:thumbsup: maybe more 10th and no Micros

c0sie 22-10-2009 07:45 AM

Yeah, pick on those that bring Nationals to HRCC why dont you..

Anyways, only suggestion I would make would be a full length straight.

Oh, and some more cheesey music from Jamies collection :D

Ben Turner 22-10-2009 08:26 AM

Cheesy music played through the rostrum speaker whilst racing?? LOUD :thumbsup::thumbsup:

G don't knock it till you've tried it ;)

I think if anything the track could have been a bit smaller, for some closer racing and with more jumps with good sized landings for a more off type feel .....

Was nice to see bits of floor without carpet on it too, and maybe some crash mats for bumps  I like bumps .....

Racing the micro trucks on it was really good fun but to me they would be even better in a dedicated micro track ..... so maybe go with 10th only ?!?

Was a cool meeting BTW, really enjoyed it .... would be ace to have somewhere to go race 10th on a big bad track :woot:

c0sie 22-10-2009 10:31 AM

I didnt think it could get any closer as far as racing goes? You need somewhere to stretch your preverbial legs though, and the straight is the best place to do that!
Maybe another 'big jump'?. Drift section was great to see! But killed my MiniSpikes lol

HRCC always lay good tracks, and the venue has got to be one of the best in the UK surely?

I thought the bit of 'drift' floor on the apex of the hairpin after the wallride was amazing. Really taught you to watch youself going into that corner for fear or overshooting and sliding out. Some nailed in, some over shot it, but that corner was one of my favs randomly!

Id love another big 10th event at HRCC, I just hope that is supported well enough for the club to consider doing more events!
