Shocks on the back! Did you simply switch the rear arms round and mount the shock on the back of the tower? Will be interesting to see the difference in handling with this layout.

didn't notice that, makes the wheelbase ever shorter

mine with the wing done
Not the best work but a couple of stickers and the overspray film off might just look the nuts
Maybe another coat of pink to hide a little more black

I had this car in my hands today but I didn't even notice the shocks were on the other way around!

Bit more weight over the rear end normal helps with a bit more traction :) Yes jsut switched the wishbones and the camber links around.

Shame i cannot run the car as there is not room to fit a 28t/ 29t pinion  as there is no room on the motorplate to slide the motor any more forwards.

Seems like a bit of a design error, hopefully durango will bring out some smaller spurs asap ?.

I presume that it maybe wasn't intended that you swap around the arms, I think its printed L for left :eh?:

Why do you want a 28/29 pinion? you running brushed?

Well i run a 8.5 which i would use a 28/29 pinion on to get the correct ratio which i use in the cars, not really i uncommon motor.

Cannot see any letters printed on the wishbones, and i could not see in the insturctions that said you are not allowed to swap them around :)

I had the same issue. I wanted to fit a 27 pinion to my 8.5, but could only just squeeze in a 26.

We go indoors next week and I have a 9.5T Tekin on order, which I was planning to fit a 28 pinion. I was thinking of dremmeling the motor plate slots so they are a bit longer. Can anyone see any problem if I were to do this?

mikeyscott 23-10-2011 05:13 PM

Already alternate sizes made by RW racing - [email protected]

Think MK had a few in stock

Think the only other issue you might have, is you will need to also remove some material from the plastic part which goes over the motor, and also the right handside plastic post that attach's to.

@ Mikey, shame i need to buy a RW spur so i can actual use the car
