have you sold up your dave?
-
thats the whole point to racing to enjoy yourself but theres always 1 that spoils it for others
-
yeah just goes that no matter how much you spend its down to your driving skills which is what i try to tell people but alot just dont listen, they think that because a pro owned it and won a fair few races with it it will do the same for them and people sell things saying that about the car cause they know some1 gullable will buy it.
-
thats the thing the have the money but half of them cant drive so there basicly wasting there money,i think everything i own rc items that is are all second hand with the odd exception for a couple of batteries n shells n my tools everything else has been bought cheap as chips on here and ebay got my dave for £35 full rtr lol
-
its nice to go to a club that isnt so competitive its more about the fun of the sport.you go to some and everybody there has to have the best of everything n show off about it n they hate newbies going.i started racing in 96 with a mini got my 1st dave in 98 n loved it but the club in barnsley shut down in 99 n didnt race again till 09.just happened to be another dave then.

lol they are so basic but a good design for the parts not to brake though, thats why i love them so much there so basic but awesome little cars
-
there is that but cars dont get mucky at don valley as its a solid floor so get a very small layer of tyre dust which blows off suppose i best be prepared for a messy car then.lol never blown a shock only thing ive broken racing is sus arms and the odd steering knuckle
-
i dont mess unless its broken once its setup haw i like it i leave it,after marshaling battery is on charge then off for a chat. i cant see any problem with not getting there so knowing my luck somet will go wrong with my car while im there usual teething problems, esc blowing up or somet.lol got a brand new novak explorer esc in it older then me probably, was a shelf queen esc still had the film on the sticker on it was mint condition for £9 on ebay

i tryed it tc with mini at don valley just stuck to 1 at a meeting was a pain when it comes to marshaling + only got 1 charger so made it a pain.im might be at the next meeting baby sitter permitting

thats the thing with daves there easy to copy but unlike a touring car your limited as to what you can do on them, and like you say there not going to be the same.
