Only practice, so counts for nothing... I guess they are taking best 2 consecutive laps for interest only. If you look at the 5 minute run times... Pinisch was quickest 11 308.4, with Lee 2nd with 11 308.5.

Another round of practice to go today with 5 rounds of qualifying to come, 3 to count I think.

IceMike 11-08-2009 10:18 AM

okies, but is anyone else havin trouble with the streamin?? or do i have to go tell my IT techy to, sort if out!!

c0sie 11-08-2009 10:21 AM

Maybe it froze cos Belsten was 3rd....in that session...its the highest hes likely to be so we might as well admire it for afew minutes :)

James 11-08-2009 10:22 AM

Best of luck guys, wish I could have made it, you better do well with my place Skelds  . Lets see you guys dominate the top 30 places, show how good the Brits are

Gemma 11-08-2009 10:44 AM

There has been a Power cut so there not racing for about an hour, thats why its not updated!

Go Pidge!! x

MatJohnson 11-08-2009 11:03 AM

Nice, was enjoying that.

Gemma 11-08-2009 11:05 AM

Yeah me too! Supposedly some workers have cut threw a power line or something!
Im sure it wont be long until its back up and running!

MatJohnson 11-08-2009 11:06 AM

Jolly good, shame there int a video stream of it as well :) but then I would never get this web service written :)

Gemma 11-08-2009 11:10 AM

Yeah that would be ace! Oh well just have to use the Reports from Jimmy, and the Timing stream! :)

Fabs 11-08-2009 12:18 PM

Any more news? Still no update but has racing resumed yet?

Nick Goodall 11-08-2009 12:22 PM

Isn't the whole idea of counting two consecutive laps to sort out the Start order for each heat?? Saves anyone getting a random one off good lap.

IceMike 11-08-2009 12:24 PM

wouldnt it just be as easy workin off the overalls then for each heat fastest times and all that

Hehehe well lets hope he can pull a rabbit out of the hat and see if he can do the top twenty. He's more than capable of doing it, just hope he doesnt drive like a monkey for the rest of the event.

Fabs 11-08-2009 12:36 PM

I'm no expert but I think the best two laps are used in order to take into account that a driver may break his car in practice even though he's fast, or simply pull off before the end of the run.

It's not unusual for heats to be re-seeded after controlled practice.

IceMike 11-08-2009 12:36 PM

Yer it would be good to see team GB high up. want to watch the results agian. get it sorted someone. bored now!!

MatJohnson 11-08-2009 12:46 PM

SHY 11-08-2009 12:47 PM

You are quickly becoming king of the random uploads / spotted in London pics!

They're always pretty entertaining though, you'll be going out with a proper camera around your neck soon

All interesting results so far are in the oople race report - day 2 online.

MatJohnson 11-08-2009 04:04 PM

Been waiting for the report all day since the timing died :)

direct link there if anyone has trouble - still working on it of course, almost the end of round two qualifying (rd 3 postponed till tomorrow because of power cut)

Welshy40 11-08-2009 05:22 PM

Class!! Im going to have to wind Ellis up re manolis. Yes a great machinist but one hell of a scatterbrain. I bet he came with three huge suitcases with unbuilt cars.

Richard Lowe 11-08-2009 06:26 PM

Go TC!

GRIFF55 11-08-2009 08:31 PM

Agreed, go team two fingers!!! You may get three for effort shortly:lol:

jimmy 11-08-2009 08:41 PM

Just uploading the report at the mo - always some bits to finish off of course but gettin there.

Fabs 11-08-2009 08:57 PM

Keep up the good work Jimmy

Just noticed that you've put the round 2 results twice, once in the correct space and the other in the overalls after 2 rounds. Should be Hupo, Tom, Ellis etc... as it stands you have Hupo, Neil, Lee

janus_77 12-08-2009 07:34 AM

No more updates on myrcm on Q3 ?

Has someone sliced a cable again ;)

I think I might have changed this before you posted - I don't think it was wrong for long:thumbsup:

Q3 hasn't started - I'm still in bed!

janus_77 12-08-2009 08:18 AM

Updates on myrcm started again ;)

Jimmy, reports are ace as allways

Axel.k 12-08-2009 08:24 AM

Strange,qualification3 starts with group 8?....btw morning Janus....

jimmy 12-08-2009 08:44 AM

Qualification is staggered - round two started on heat 5 I think and then ended on heat 4 after looping round.
